During our extended visit we take a city tour visiting the European Parliament district, the Royal Palace and the museum quarter. On Saturday we feature an extended visit to Brugge with time to explore its shops, art galleries, museums, churches and possibly take a canal cruise or horse-drawn carriage ride. We visit the Roman remains at Arles, Aix en Provence and tour the Camargue with its famous white horses, black bulls and 300 species of birds. Our base – Avignon is an elegant and sophisticated fortified riverside city with many cafes, terraced restaurants, art galleries and magnificent buildings.
