European Heritage was established in 1987 by Clive Morgan, a former Senior Probation Officer and Cropwood Fellow of Cambridge University Institute of Criminology to arrange incoming “Criminology Tours” for students from Canada to experience at first hand the workings of The Criminal Justice System in England & Wales. The scope of these tours has widened to include the Criminal Justice Systems of most European Countries.

In 1988 a small tour programme aimed at people in the 50+ age group was arranged. This included London theatre breaks staying at 4 & 5 Star hotels, theatre day tours and short breaks to popular British destinations such as York, Chester and Bournemouth.

Late in 1988 the first tour to Normandy was arranged. The welcome, scenery, attractions and cuisine proved popular with passengers and in subsequent years, leading up to the 50th Anniversary of D-Day, extra tours were added including two each year to Monets Home & Garden at Giverney. In recent years we have arranged Concert tours for Male Voice Choirs and Brass Bands who have taken part in The Falaise Festival and a number of tours for School groups studying William the Conqueror and the D-Day Invasion of Normandy. In 1998 European Heritage Tours were awarded the Normandy Tourist Board 'Benedictine Award' for excellence in Coach Tourism.

In 1989 Deborah Morgan BA joined her father in the business and specialises in arranging Educational Tours throughout Europe, and also visits to the European Parliament.

Currently the Company offers an extensive tour programme to European destinations as well as further afield tours to New York, Boston & New England and Vancouver, The Rockies & Calgary.
